Driving a 7 Segment LED display
I recently got a Spartan III development board with a 4 digit 7 segment LED display. Anyway I wrote a short article on writing the VHDL to drive the display. I’m planning to write a few more articles for the board including how to handle the PS/2 keyboard interface and the VGA output. The article is available in docbook and html Michael Smit is a software engineer in Maryland who currently develops software for spacecraft, spacecraft simulators, and spacecraft control systems.
