Wp-Wikipedia-Excerpt

NOTE: This took this idea and improved it.

This is the page for the Wp-Wikipedia-Excerpt plugin. At the moment it turns [wikipedia]c++[/wikipedia] into c++. The plan is to extend it to also have a hover-over containing an excerpt from the wikipedia entry.

To use download wp-wikipedia-excerptphp.zip an unzip it into the wikipedia wp-content/plugins directory and then activate from the wordpress plugins page.

    I read about your wordpress-plugin “linkle and tried it but was not satisfied: In your description above you say:

    This is exactly what I’m searching for, but it seems to be not improved in linkle. Another idea would be to open the search result in a popup to keep the user on the site. The popup should print out the article only, without navigation or so, similar to the mobil version of wikipedia (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/)
    Do you have any idea how to configure your plugin to do this or do you know a plugin doing this?
